Adaptive Security – Backed by OpenAI & NVIDIA

Adaptive Security is the leading provider of AI-powered social engineering prevention solutions. The company protects more than 1,000 enterprise customers against AI-powered attacks, including deepfakes, voice cloning, advanced phishing, and social engineering. Its platform includes security awareness training, phishing simulations, phish triage, email security, AI governance, and risk scoring.

I served as Communications Lead at Adaptive Security for two years, beginning with the company’s emergence from stealth in February 2025. During this pivotal period of growth, I helped establish the company’s media presence and lead its communications strategy. I led communications for the successful announcements of the company’s Series A, Series A extension, and Series B funding rounds, while helping secure significant Tier 1 national and international media coverage, including TechCrunch, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, CNN, BBC, USA Today, Variety, Politico, NPR, and other leading global news outlets and technology trade publications.

These communications and media relations efforts helped elevate Adaptive Security’s industry profile and contributed to the company’s recognition, including being named to Fast Company’s Next Big Things in Tech and the Forbes Cyber 60 list.

Adaptive Security has raised more than $140 million from prominent investors, including Bain Capital Ventures, NVentures (NVIDIA’s venture capital arm), OpenAI Startup Fund, Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Abstract Ventures, Capital One Ventures, and Citi Ventures.
